The post holder will be working with three other full time Consultant Psychiatrists as well as a half time consultant to provide a comprehensive Mental Health Service for a population of Gibraltar of more than 30,000.
The successful candidate is expected to work within an inpatient and community setting and along the range of the different psychiatric specialties, to actively participate in the development of the service and to be able to work in a challenging and developing environment.
The rota will be 1:3 with prospective cover and annual leave entitlement includes 6 weeks annual leave and 2 weeks of study leave.
The appointment above is for ashort term contract of 6 months.
Salary, dependant on experience ranges from £107,777- £132,984 per annum. In addition, the post holder will be paid a sum of 8% of the basic salary for undertaking on call duties and a supplement of 10% of the basic salary in order to provide cross cover of colleagues, for whatever reason, up to a maximum of ten weeks per year.
In addition, economy class airfares from and to Gibraltar are payable in full and rented accommodation is subsidised up to a maximum of £350 per month.
