The department is part of the Hospital Unit West (Hospitalsenheden Vest) consisting of 5 hospitals in
Herning, Holstebro, Ringkobing, Lemvig and Tarm. The Department of Oncology is located in an entirely new building called Oncology House.
It carries out approximately 10,000 outpatient chemotherapy
treatments per year. There are two radiation apparatus in the department operated by specialists from Aarhus.
Disease groups treated at the Oncology Department:
- Breast cancer
- Colorectal cancer
- Lung cancer
- Ovarian and endometrial cancer
- Cancer of the pancreas
- Skin cancer
- Malignant melanoma
More info about the desired candidates:
- A minimum 3 years of experience
- Professional command of English is required
- Motivation for living and working abroad
What we offer for specialized doctors:
- A 6 month language course and Danish Medical Language Program in Budapest with compensation for lost income(settlement assistance of €800 per month)
