The hospital is an independent sector healthcare company with a first class record of high quality patient care, excellent clinical outcomes, innovation and efficiency. It works with its local NHS partners to offer NHS patients high-quality, rapid access to planned treatments across a range of specialties at their five treatment centres in the South West, employing over 400 clinicians and support staff at all of its locations in the South West and has treated over 45,000 NHS patients to date.
The post holders will be required to perform a range of ophthalmology procedures, on patients referred to the treatment centre, working in accordance with treatment centre protocols and working practices.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of operative skill in the following areas:
- Phakeomulsification
- Oculoplastic low complex
- Surgical retina low complex
- Surgical retina intermediate
Duties will include preoperative, intra operative and postoperative activities as well as time allocated for clinical supporting work.
Applicants will be required to have completed a substantial number of procedures identified above independently. Applicants will be expected to have an excellent clinical quality record and be able to demonstrate the ability to perform efficiently in theatre.
The salary for the post will be £95.000 - £110.000 per annum plus companys benefit package which will include:
